Documentary Wedding Edit
What’s the most important part of your wedding day?
We know how important it is to capture the events of your wedding day. We know how much time is spent planning each and every detail.
While we specialize in creating dynamic cinematic short films, our approach to every wedding is the same. We want to capture all of the important details that make your wedding unique to you in a highly cinematic way. Creative composition and other film-like qualities are always on our mind.
This is how we shoot everything, from getting ready through your grand reception exit! Your Documentary edit will maintain our artistic approach to capturing your day, while giving you pieces from all of the events of your day, including a full ceremony edit and complete toasts from your reception.
Documentary edits usually range anywhere from 60-120 minutes, depending on the schedule and events of your wedding day. Your Documentary edit will be broken up into segments, so that you can skip around from bridal prep to the reception events.
The length of each segment will vary from each wedding. For example, if bridal prep lasted 3 hours for one wedding and 1 hour for another, the bridal prep segment may be longer for the first wedding.
Ceremonies are edited in full for the Documentary edit, with minor exceptions. Audio is recorded on the couple throughout the entire duration of the ceremony to capture full vows. Toasts are recorded in full with an audio feed coming from the DJ or MC microphone feed when possible.
