Kaitlyn and Blake | Destination Wedding | New Orleans

This is the first time I have traveled to New Orleans.  Let me just say this.   I loved everything about it.   Thank you so much Kaitlyn and Blake for inviting to capture your day.

A few words on why they love New Orleans

Why New Orleans?

Our relationship began in New Orleans in the fall of 2008 while completing our grad school program at Tulane University. We both fell in love with the city and also for each other. It only made sense for us to make our life commitment to each other and exchange our marriage vows in the city we call our second home.  We wanted our family and friends to celebrate our coming together as husband and wife, and also experience all that we treasure about this unique city. The weekend was filled with so much love and happiness, and it was truly the most wonderful celebration.

What we LOVE about the city?

It was incredibly special to share our love for New Orleans with all our wedding guests. There is no shortage of art, architecture, fabulous food, music and culture within the city. It is a unique experience to walk down Royal Street, listening to street performers and stop in and out of one of a kind antique shops, or to spend a night on Frenchman Street listening to the unbelievably talented local jazz musicians. There is no shortage of culinary delight throughout New Orleans, which is why it is nearly impossible for us to name our favorite restaurant.

It was important for us to incorporate many NOLA traditions throughout our wedding weekend. John Besh catering group spiced things up with his fabulous Cajun cuisine at our wedding reception. We love New Orleans Jazz music, and James Andrews and the Crescent City All Stars kept our wedding guests on the dance floor throughout the evening.  We absolutely had to have the Second Line, and truly cherish the unforgettable experience of parading down Canal Street with our band and guests to end our special day! Our family and friends continue to comment on the NOLA experience, and I think by the end of the weekend, many of them had also fallen in love with New Orleans!

We love making the little trip south to Louisville, Kentucky for weddings!  It is even more special when the couple treats you like family.  We really enjoyed spending the weekend with Kim and Than.  Everything from the Tea Ceremony on Saturday to the reception on Sunday evening, it was perfect.   Such a fun couple with fun friends!   Thank you for having us!

Dana and Jeff | Destination Wedding | Lake Tahoe

Over the summer Gary (Garebear) took a little road trip to capture Dana and Jeff's Lake Tahoe wedding.  We love when we get to travel for Destination wedding video!  Needless to say the views were stunning, the weather was amazing and Dana and Jeff's wrote the best vows ever!  Here is a little glimpse into their weekend!

A few words from Dana.

"The day after Jeff and I got engaged we made the drive for a weekend in Chicago. On that drive, we chose our wedding date (8-21-15 - exactly one year after our engagement) and we talked about our vision for our wedding; where and how we wanted to make our vows to each other. That's when we decided on Lake Tahoe, CA - we wanted to be on the mountainside, over looking a body of water. We were so excited to share this location with our family and friends who joined us and we knew we wanted exceptional coverage of the day, so that we would remember everything about it.

Our video of our day will highlight the smiles and tears, spotlight the amazing backdrop and memorialize the notes that we wrote to each other. Jeff and I loved everything about our wedding day and we can't wait to relive it well into the future.

Thank you to Gary for traveling across the country with us and for his exceptional work in capturing our wedding day!"

Chelsea and Michael | Cancun Wedding Video

It's not everyday you get to travel to a beautiful location with sun, sand and ocean and spend time documenting the love between  a man and women and 50 of their dear friends.  This spring we were able to do just that.  Chelsea and Michael were married on the beach with the perfect sunset.  This is something I am sure their friends and family will never forget.

Enjoy their Wedding video.
